About:

I had Lego as a child which our 8 year old son now plays with when we visit my parents. When aged 4, my son started getting his own sets, so dad was called in to build them and so my love of the brick was reignited. My wife and I run our own show (BayBrick.com.au) and met SydLug through it. It was great to meet them because now we have someone to talk to who does not think we are MAD! They have inspired me to make better dioramas [large layout] with much more detail.

As a family we will often spend a day just building together and seeing what we can come up with. We have been to Canberra and Sydney Shows to display our models and will be off to Melbourne next. We are already planning our next MOCs .…..

About:

I came out of my dark ages in about 2009 after a 20 year hiatus. Started with a couple of Mars Mission sets to avoid buying Star Wars, that lasted all of 2 weeks and I was hooked. I have been jumping from one theme to another which really improves MOCing abilities. I am quite keen on Sci-Fi at the moment, though this could all change in a week or two. I am realitively new to large layouts having only shown at BrickWorld Chicago 2010 and Brick Expo 2011, though fast developing a taste for the camaraderie.

About:

My fascination with the brick started back in 78 with what now is known as Classic Space, Classic Castle and also the release of the Mini-Fig. After a 20yr dark age my interest was re-ignited when my wife bought a train set #4511 for our son, and shortly after that I discovered  Stars Wars LEGO and had to start collecting. Nowadays I enjoy building and displaying moc’s in all themes.

About:

Joined SYdlug after displaying at Sydney Brick Show in May 2012. I think I am the only female in the Sydlug group but the guys are all very supportive. I enjoy building anything girly, with castles, fairies and flowers somehow incorporated in each build. My enjoyment for lego is a family affair with my husband and son also, after first displaying lego for our sons school as a fundraising event in 2010.

About:

As one of the youngest members of SydLUG I haven’t had the “dark ages” like others have. Since I received my first Lego set in the mid to late 90s as a young kid I haven’t looked back. I love creating small and large MOCs of all themes and spending time just creating anything that I can possibly think of. Since I Joined up with the SydLUG group my collection, knowledge and enthusiasm has grown just knowing that there are others out there that I can talk to about anything Lego related.

About:

Was handed my first set (Black Falcon’s Fortress) age 2, it’s been a love affair ever since. I collect a range of Lego themes and build mainly MOCs in different time periods. I like most had a brief ‘dark age’ in my teens, but came back with vigour. Now in Sydney, my creations are often found at SYDLUG displays.
