SydLUG members were kept busy last weekend with two public shows in Northern NSW and the Lake Macquarie area. What better way to beat the winter blues than with LEGO? Running over Saturday and Sunday (25 & 26 August), displays by SydLUG’s Northern NSW members played a small part in attracting record crowds to the Alstonville Craft & Garden Fair, put on by the local Quota Club.

On Sunday (August 26), SydLUG held a Brickparade to raise much needed funds for the Charlestown Scout group. Held at Charlestown Square, the event provided a unique activity for the centre’s regular shoppers. SydLUG builders from Newcastle and Sydney displayed some of their awesome creations and visitors to the event were also able to have some fun of their own in the brick play area and at the LEGO RC track.

SydLUG loves getting out and about and helping out the local community and hopes to return for both events in 2019.
